چکیده

Metal–support interaction (MSI) is considered a key effect of electronic and geometric structures catalysts on tuning catalytic performance. The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) crucial process during energy conversion storage. However, the OER requires help noble metal to reduce overpotential, enhance reactivity with intermediates, maintain good operating stability. Carbon–supported have been candidates for OER. MSI occurs at interface carbon supports metals, affecting performance through modulation. can influence change pathways from charge redistribution, electron transfer, chemical coordination bonding, steric effect. Connecting effects mechanism provide theoretical guidance practical approach design efficient catalysts, including modulation particle size, morphology, heteroatom doping, defect engineering, atom number. Advantage be taken between compounds catalyst design.

Chemical Recognition of Active Oxygen Species on the Surface of Oxygen Evolution Reaction Electrocatalysts

Owing to the transient nature of the intermediates formed during the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) on the surface of transition metal oxides, their nature remains largely elusive by the means of simple techniques. The use of chemical probes is proposed, which, owing to their specific affinities towards different oxygen species, unravel the role played by these species on the OER mechanism. Fo...

Co‐doping Strategy for Developing Perovskite Oxides as Highly Efficient Electrocatalysts for Oxygen Evolution Reaction

A synergistic co-doping strategy is proposed to identify a series of BaCo0.9-x Fe x Sn0.1O3-δ perovskites with tunable electrocatalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Simply through tailoring the relative concentrations of less OER-active tin and iron dopants, a cubic perovskite structure (BaCo0.7Fe0.2Sn0.1O3-δ) is stabilized, showing intrinsic OER activity >1 order of magnit...
